Please be advised that there is a current computer scam operating in Australia where you are asked to provide your credit card details to remove viruses that have infected your computer.

The first scam involves a phone call from an overseas call centre who claim to be associated or from Microsoft and who have detected infections on your computer. It appears that they are more interested in getting your credit card number than infecting your computer. But never trust a stranger to give you commands and never enter them into your computer.
